Highly recommend to everyone. Kind of like going back in time. We grew up in the early 70's steakhouses where on every corner. My first job was at a steakhouse Shane's in Westgate Asheville,NC. Food bar & Salad bar one of the best.

I am an extremely nostalgic person. This place took me back, and the food was AMAZING! I legitimately haven't been this happy tasting anything in years. I literally teared up, because I hadn't had food like this in over 20 years and it was like my inner child was healed. Please keep it up. I will keep driving an hour to and from as long as the business is here. The rolls and the ice cream machine are the cherry on top.

Best food, dessert and bread bar around. Plenty of room and quick wait to get food ordered and sat down. They accommodated my dad who is on oxygen and needed a table up front. Very polite staff and food was Amazing.

The Gold Standard of good dining out in this community. Consistent quality buffet, excellent wait staff, and the most attentive owners/managers you'll find . If you're passing through Spruce Pine, give them a visit!

With my family in town to experience the fall foliage and weather, we were exploring near Little Switzerland and decided to grab some food. After doing some research, we found Western Sizzlin, and let’s just say it’s definitely a place I’d make a trip to eat at again! I loved that they offered both menu items and a buffet option. The food was classic American style, and the prices were very reasonable. I sampled almost everything, and just about everything was delicious. The variety was great, and their fresh bread rolls with cinnamon butter and honey butter were amazing. The dessert options were also a nice touch. The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and everyone was friendly. It got pretty packed at one point, and I completely understand why. The only thing I was a little bummed about was that they don’t serve breakfast. I had seen a photo of a breakfast buffet, which is what initially drew us in, but regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back!

I have eaten heat since I was a kid. This was a favorite restaurant. I’d thought all western Sizzlins had closed. I was ecstatic to eat here during a trip. This one was even better than I remembered. Food was fresh and tasted incredible. Everything looked and smelled clean. The staff was warm and friendly.

The service is the best part! Dont get me wrong......the food is good!! A huge selection of hot and cold! Beautiful fresh salad bar plus Meatloaf, fried/baked chicken, fried fish, & fried shrimp. A VARIETY of sides & dessert. The staff there keeps an eye on your every need without being bothersome. Its great!!!
